who cares from where they are from... mumbai fc is giving them chance which is important for them.. the likes of cavin lobo gabriel were not getting their deserving chances and earned their names... till the time they are just trying to survive they got players like jayesh rane, ashutosh mehta along with the above mentioned talented players who were warming for other clubs..
for me i am happy with the way mumbai fc had been promoting talents in past years
@shankar Cooperage Ground has a great history. Even Dhyanchand has played Hockey there. I was at Cooperage Ground in 2001 for Rovers Cup amongst packed Ground with old rickety stands. Cunning people are deliberately sabotaging Mumbai Football by not allowing I-League games at Cooperage Stadium because they only want Ambani Product- ISL to be there at D Y Patil Stadium. Finish the alternate. The same people have also closed down I-League website.
The problem with cooperate has nothing to do with ISL, the locals have issues with it, and we all know that. Anything goes wrong anywhere, ISL ne kiya! I am sure that decades of Indian footballing problems are also due to ISL ka masterplan. Happy new year style
Mumbai FC have signed with IFS cooperage as Youth development partner Also have joined as partners with Vile Parle Premier league which is local 2 division league... and been set as scouting league for u-19 players..
Good thing is that all the Mumbai Newspapers have carried out articles on Cooperage Ground and return of National Football in the city after 5 years. Hopefully fans will come out in big numbers and they can create a good atmosphere.
