The Future of the I-League

First off, yes, I have looked through the thread and yes, there is nothing like this already made.

Anyway, now that we are at the I-League break I think it is finally time to talk about the 2014-15 season and beyond... the future. Currently we have 13 teams (4 in Kolkata, 4 in Goa, 2 in Shillong, 2 in Maharashtra, 1 in Bangalore) and a 24-match format. We also have a very unbalenced schedule, lots of postponed matches, stadium movements, and other messed up things.

So, what do we think?

It's going to be fun seeing how the AIFF will pull the U17 WC. The AIFF has its head so far up its ass, that the I-League's structure needs a lot of revisizing so these things don't happen.

u already mentioned the reason for not supporting this format..haha and u r asking what we think?? ofcourse no one like it...
next year definitly i-lig need 14 teams to avoid above mentioned problem...

i'm aware of chennai but when he mentioned abt delhi and kerela? anyway if 16 teams will be there means over-expansion...14 teams will be gud...

No I like idea of 16 teams because india is big we need atlist 20 club league

agreed 20 will be gud not at this point of time...this might backfire...i liga shud expand slowly means 1 additional team in yearly basis...
