Actually they dont. With DSK agreeing to play in I-Leage with an all Indiam squad, only 1 team is needed to make the numbers. So, Ozone will get the entry. By the way did BFC, Bharat FC, DSK Shivajians, Minerva and CCFC paid the ₹30 Million? Coz if they did, the amount over last four years will be ₹240 Million. What happened to all that?
Gokulam FC is already investing in grassroots and youth...their residential academy will start this year itself at public school owned by them in vadakara of Kozhikode district. 3 cr is nothing for them..only problem is AIFF ... Gokulam group which owns Gokulam FC is net worth of USD 1.5 billion.
DSK and Lajong are still uncertain , should one of them pull out ,AIFF will come back knocking on GFCs doors. That being said i believe GFC will do whats necessary to play in the I-League.
Lajong backing out will be a big blow....shillong needs representative in national league. Like Pune FC though SLFC may not have won much but they add immense value and are a proper club. A non sold out AIFF should have been arranging sponsors to help them but here I believe IMG just might extra bonus to aiff officials if lajong back out
who forced this clubs to sign 8 foreigners its optional. if u can't afford even 5 foreigners then don't sign 5 foreigners. this 5 clubs are paid by IMG to give this statement. Mr Bajaj is saying 5 foreigners will be harmful to the game but last season he signed 10 foreigners.
