Yeah but this season team is full of rejects with no potential to improve further,Also U-19 players aren't getting chance like the last batch did.
Believe me we have some good talent in Prabir Das,Passi and few U-19 players who are given very less playing time.
Right that is the precise point, when you have a team free from relegation, then why not play a time based on talent even though they are young, this will help them to grow mentally and have match experience for future. This team is for future not of present. Give the young U -19 players playing time now for help their growth.
Put a young coach like the Mumbai FC or Lajong SC coach in charge of Arrows , this will help the younger players.
Both players and coaches will have desire & hunger to succeed and their will be no regional (Punjabi) bias that was so evident under Sukhvinder. He basically took the whole JCT academy team and played them each game.
Also style is important , when u can't get relegate , why play boring football, lose 3-2 every week and people will be happier.
Agreed. If you arnt going to be relegated at least look at yourself in the mirror and say to yourself that you are the future of your country. That should be what drives them and the new coach should remind them that.
According to some sources Air India is all but out of I-League from next season as are not ready to comply with the AFC criteria. With minimal interest being shown by HAL I think they could head the same way.
Is this true?? Great news. But I would feel bad for Santosh Kashyap. He is great coach. He was the sole reason players were able to stay focus and perform when they weren't payed their dues for few months. He has done a great job from the limited resources that he had. Also he has that skill of building unknown players and eye for young talents.
If Chirag, stays up I suggest they should hire Santosh.

Santosh should join the AIFF youth set-up as either a head coach at one of the Academies or maybe he could be the India under-22 coach and learn from Robert Baan.

That's also a good idea. Academies is ok. But I prefer to have a foreign coach for national setup.

Maybe we could have a foreign coach and have Santosh be the assistant. Santosh would be cheap and a very good assistant at national level. Plus he could learn under the foreign coach and eventually once the foreign coach is gone, Santosh can step in.

santosh for arrows job would be much better job for players also as they will be under a motivational coach as it is needed for such young players when they face some mighty players from foreign as well

But can we have 2 separate head coaches, one from u22 and one for Pailan

true, seeing as Under 22 should have a group of 50 talented players;
The 'A' team plays in the I-league as a Pailan team but relocate to Bangalore or some city that will lose an I-League team this season, Arrows team has moved from Delhi to Kolkata and it should move again to help grow Indian football
The 'B' team should train with the 2nd coach and play in the 2nd Division, if they manage to qualify for the I-League (unlikely) then they should replace the A team whose players are returned to their host clubs and you build a new B team again.
The 2 coaches could be Kashyap ( I-League ) and another coach who has succeeded in I-League/2nd Division but can not be one of the old school coaches , someone who can teach them to play good football,

Its a good idea but the problem is that we would need to change the format of the I-League 2nd Division also Pailan is going to be hard to convince to move to Bangalore. Pailan World School is to much of a great practice pitch for the AIFF to lose apparently.
I think we should keep it at one team and revamp the u19 league. Have all 14 (yes I know it may move up to 16 for some stupid reason) teams u19 sides in it and have TATA FA, SESA FA, KGF FA and all the AIFF-FIFA Academies play in the league sand divide the league into 4 groups of 7 teams (21 teams) and then the best 2 teams from each group move to the Final Round. 6 teams who play each other home and away (use the training grounds though of there respective I-League team) and at the end of the 10 games the team in first is Champion.
