KGF isn't an academy , it is the old BEMl team ( public sector ) , they had to change their name and become a commercial entity to comply with the AFC criteria for 2nd Division
Bangalore pitch is artificial and FIFA Goal project 2 have completed the building for an Academy at the same site.
Pailan World School can be used for younger academy teams

Vijayan said that he wants to turn KGF into an Academy side. They could but it would take a lot of negotiation skill from AIFF and a lot of marketing.
Vijayan like most Indian coaches has no Academy experience , so how can he change anything ?
getting some youthful players into the squad. Either way I do see what you are saying. I am wondering why did BEML not get Indian Arrows when they had a chance, could have saved Bangalore Football. And then at least name your club something like Bangalore City FC if your not really going to make an Academy.
btw, Bangalore FC is already being conceptualized and we could see this team & & Hyderabad FC or Chennai FC making waves similar to Aizawl FC this season.
Talk is of big investors and bringing in some foreign coaches/ foreign club collaborations, more clarity on this in 2-3 months time after the current 2nd Division concludes & HAL's relegation is confirmed ( only 1 more loss to confirm that)

Really, there are investors thinking about making a club called Bangalore FC. Oh my god this is amazing. If they have the funds bring them into the I-League now.

Sample of the official website is up - http://i-league.org/
Looks good, somewhat similar to WIFA's website. It is being designed by themeboy - http://themeboy.com/
So the website should be up in 1-2 days.
I swear that is the actual website!
