Is Mysore the second biggest city of Karnataka? If that's so, then Ozone's (or whoever's) decision to base there is right. I would have prefer to have a team from either Hyd or Nagpur, though.
The more I see Profool's face in the news reports or read his statements, the more my desire to give him a hard kick in the ass soars. 'It it happens, it happens, if it doesn't happen, it doesn't'. 'We are not putting up a timeframe (for the merger)'. Bastard, why are you still occupying that chair if you cannot influence any decision? Sonofabitch, do you realize you are killing Indian football with two leagues running? MF, have you finished collecting all the cut money yet, and let it go?
Why isn't there any uproar and he's not being removed I don't know.
@Deb_Ban Mysore is third largest city in Karnataka. Hubli Dharwad is the second largest metropolitan area. Mysore does not have a functional Airport. This factor will go against Mysore as a venue. Nearest airport will be Bangalore Airport 180 km away.
Correction every one - It is no Mysore,it is Mysuru, My home town. it is having multiple stadium, 1 > Chamundi Vihar stadium - Huge Stadium, Needs to improvement though - Grass 2 > Manasa gangothri Stadium - Cricket Stadium - Grass 3 > Banimantap - Torch light show stadium - Just Mud - Grass
Mysuru has beautiful airport - but no one flies except Charter flights, earlier Kingfisher, Air India regional use to operate but due to less patronage they shut down the operation. Govt announced 1 crore for 1year to operate from this route. Hopefully some one will pick it up but currently it is white elephant(Ghost Airport) costs lot of money for maintenance while no commercial passenger plane lands. Mysuru Airport will never attractive destination until they operate flights to Chennai, Mumbai, Hyderabad and Delhi. Operating to Bengaluru is never option for traveler, By road it is 2 hours and 28 train between both the cities costing 60 rs why will somebody prefer airline ? Connectivity - It is not an issue for I-league or AFC teams. AFC Criteria is 150 KM, For I-league it doesn't matter. I-League games in Mysuru AFC games in Bengaluru
When we are kids, We started the club called Royals FC and won the Mysuru Division title(Undefeated) in the first season like BFC and invited to play in BDFA Super division by KSFA. if we would have not chosen the path of IT. At least Royals FC would have been playing in I-League 2, But it will be very to good to have club from Mysuru representing at National level.

They never said, even in the past, that Merger will happen for sure.
Why isn't there any uproar and he's not being removed I don't know.
