Bardez is most likely a Taluka or say a region of Goa. All these attractions like Anjuna Beach, Baga Beach are in Bardez. Duler Stadium, Mapusa are also in Bardez. Somebody from Goa can enlighten us about owners and Dubai Connection of FC Bardez !!!
I mean, they don't have to rush it if they do get direct-entry and there won't be relegation for them I assume anyway. They can just build a squad around young players if they want and maybe a few established players.
Bardez is a taluka in north goa. FC Bardez was actually a Dubai based team which competed in Dubai Indian Football League (semi pro) and have won the league after defeating a Kerala team. the team then changed bases to mapusa goa as they wanted to join GPL. and have ambitions for I-League. They are owned by Dubai based Australian business man Sidney lemons who you may know as his company FC Prime Markets sponsored FC goa last season but terminated the contract after Mody took over. now they own FC Bardez another Dubai based farm also hold small stake in the club.

According to this report, fc bardez is Dubai based team. Not sure
The current squad hasnt dominated the senior division unlike first division where they dominated.
They are still dependent on a few African imports and am surprised they applied for a direct entry.
I-league 2 would have been more apt but then they started being ambitious 2 years back.
Nevertheless JLN would be a poor choice for the club. Will be like fatorda when i-league match is playing.
A smaller stadium will be great, Not sure if that can be arranged.
