Nursery League finals trouncing Howrah based Sahajatri club
convincingly three goals to one. At half time, the scoresheet read
2-1 in favour of the mariners. </font>

Bagan colts had to see off some stiff competition for the ball from
their rivals in the first half before they could get the better off
their opponents in ball possession and goal bound offensives. The
first goal was scored in the 9th minute by no 16 Krishanu Santra off
a goal bound melee. He bulged the net as the ball bounced off the
cross bar from a goal bound shot to put Bagan one up on the score-sheet. The second goal was a gem of a header by no 17
Arghyadeep Paul in the 20th minute who finished off a measured Pinaki
Mahato cross from just outside the left side of the rival box by
changing the direction of the ball with a gentle caress of the head
in style. Before the game headed into half time in the 42</font><sup><font face="Times New Roman, serif">nd</font></sup><font face="Times New Roman, serif">
minute, the Sahajatri boys pulled one back through a long ranger from
the left side of the Mariners box.</font></p>

pressed hard for the ball in the second half but eventually the
Sahajatri citadel gave in to mariners' relentless attacks as the game

Krishanu Santra stretched the lead to 3-1 and assured the Bagan
colts' entry into the finals where they lock horns with Shyamnagar
Tarun Sangha, the nursery team of Prayag United Sports coming
