Modwel: FC Pune City trying to 'connect' with Pune

Nice to hear from an actual administrator from FC Pune City and nothing like a Hrithik Roshen opinion piece etc. Anyway, good initiative by the team and hope it works for them. It seems like they acknowledge that they were way off with attendance last season and that they need to do something to fix that.

I can see it now: "I won't believe it till construction starts." Followed by: "I won't believe it till it's completed." Followed by: "I won't believe it till they develop one player." Followed by: "I won't believe it till they develop an EPL quality player." and we will be left waiting for 10 years.

Great day on the training pitch with @FCPuneCity. Had heard so much about the so called limitations of the domestic players but none of that was in evidence today. Exceptional work ethic, thirst to improve & learn, technically more than capable, very very pleasantly surprised. Nice for me to get my boots on again and enjoy coaching. Today was a football session, tomorrow am it's about the physical side of the game, then tactical work in the afternoon. Couldn't be more delighted with the squad we've got so far, international players all eager to impart their knowledge, plenty of work to do before we unveil to the Orange Army of FC Pune City

Last year, around 20,000 people had bought tickets to watch the club play. 20 thousand tickets sold for 7 home games. That gives average of about 2850 tickets sold for every game.

Stop criticising FC Pune City guys. They are trying their very best. They will get full house this year. Atleast give them some credit for their signings last year and this year as well. After FC Goa, its Pune for me.
