Aunty has called for a meeting on 5th june to decide the roadmap of this year's circus in london. It might consist 10 teams. Two franchises are thinking of withdrawing as their loss has crossed 150 cr over three years. Source:ABP

  • I can only think that Mumbai City FC and NEUFC are thinking of withdrawing. FC Goa have just come in, Delhi, Kerala and Pune are hiring. Chennai I don't think will withdraw. ATK will stay in.

Mumbai City FC & NE United FC are withdrawing ? They don't want to be a part of "Let's Football" ? So unfortunate. But I don't believe they are withdrawing.

They wont. It is an open secret that MCFC are bankrolled by Reliance . They wont find it hard to convince someone to takeover in a city which boasts several billionaires .NEUFC are looking for investors or co owners .

In 1928 Mohun Bagan & EB had to play an exhibition match to raise part of the fund for the ship fare for the Olympic bound Indian Hockey Team. They brought home the FIRST GOLD MEDAL for the Country.
Now 89 years later AIFF is forcing these 2 teams to pay to play in Country's "would be Top League".
If still Prafool Patel, Kushal Das, Sunanda Dhar & company are not ashamed then they will never be....

Stop playing victim card for EB and MB again and again. these ain't some poor Indian club trying to break ceilings put on top of them. These are decades old richest clubs in India.

Franchise fees etc are all part of the leagues requirement that is common practice in franchise footballing leagues all over the world. You cannot expect clubs not to pay into the league but expect a pie share from the central pool.

Btw Comparing the current fees situation against the pre independence struggles our Indian clubs faced is downright ridiculous.
