@goalkeepar: What proof have you got for your comment? I have seen that you have made this point consistently whenever Churchill have faltered this season and have been at the end of some dubious refereeing decision.
Just to remind you, EB has also suffered because of refereeing decisions, some of them quite glaring...The result also benefits CCFC who I believe, are still best poised to lift the title in spite of their hiccup in the last match
@thebeautifulgame exactly. East Bengal had a goal cancelled against Aizawl (the manner of cancellation would have consoled Lampard more than enough) and it ultimately costed the game.
Of course, I think that winning/drawing that match against AFC itself would not have benefitted EB a lot...their performance has been very inconsistent this season (as well as in the past few seasons)...Chennai City have been the standout performer and deserve to win the title
Nothing against EB, but aiff has planed to make EB win the league so they can close down I league without any resistance. Fight is for survival of I league not for any club.
AIFF will try every trick in the book, and outside it, for the closure of I-League, but you got to have solid proof to back your statement. Again, if AIFF and the refs are biased in favour of EB, why have they been at the receiving end of some poor refereeing decisions this season?
