That was long back when both EB n MB had chance but now aiff knows that only EB has a chance so they will do anything to make EB win the league, if other club wins then that club will ask to be included to ISL which they won't do they can't forcefully relegate national champion to 2nd division so aiff wants EB to win and there referees will try every thing to gets results in favor of EB.

Can AIFF ever shut Ileague? For that to happen they need to introduce promotion and relegation in their top tier league. Is it feasible under the current scenario to relegate a franchise team in ISL to some 2nd division league?

Yes, MB changed its name and ownership. Now it's easy to give it's share to the potential sponsor.

EB doesn't need to win I-League to join ISL just like BFC. So stop commenting weird things. EB has been consistently facing poor referring decjsions.

No. I don't know why but MB supporters have this habit of screaming 'ref helped EB' after losing the derby.Dicka's goal, which they said was on, was actually offside. (New fifa rules say Dicka was offside while receiving the ball and even by old rules, it is offside when the ball hits Caldeira, who was well behind all EB players including Rakshit, before rolling into the goal.) If there had been a decision that had affected the game, it was Jobby being denied a genuine penalty.

@Carbon_14: Not sure about that...if you are talking about MB's disallowed goal in the second derby, some experts including ex-FIFA referee Pradip Nag, have explained that the linesman had rightly cancelled Dicka's goal as offside, though the offside rule is pretty confusing...About Ralte's first goal in the earlier derby, it has been shown that Ralte was in an onside position when the ball was released to him by Joby Justin

Of course, there were some other controversial decisions too like the ball hitting Borja's hand inside the box (first derby) but no penalty being awarded

Last derby, Dicka was pulled down inside the box, game on, no penalties. EB aren't always in the receiving end of the Refs' decisions.

@EastBengalPride who said EB need to win I league to get into isl , I said if EB wins they can easily close down I league and justify it by saying they restructuring the league so took the champion of I league into ISL, if any other team wins then it will be a big problem for FSDL.

PS : EB will get into ISL even if they are relegated from I league.
