Arrows players need to learn some basic things. When you are trailing the game by 1 goal, put the Ball in center and throw it forward- instead they spent last few minutes arguing and fighting on the sidelines. This worked well for East Bengal.
EB red card was harsh. Should have been just an yellow. This is the worst Arrows team attitudewise. Some other deserving team is losing their spot due to this jokers
Arrows project is not a waste of money.. They have improved from last season a lot...Their attitudes have changed a lot...They wanted to win this game and they were trying hard..They are not playing long balls much.. Last season they played counter attacking style of football.. This season they are passing a lot, creating chances.. . They now are not afraid to play any I league team.. Though they couldnt score much, i am sure they have improved definitely... Watch any game from last season and compare it with last 2 games played recently... You can see the result of the arrows project when this team play in AFC u19 qualifiers.. Though aiff can start a better youth league(which is the best method), arrows project is not bad either
In any professional environemnt even with world best academies, the coaches will say that if you show poor attitude, poor discipline, keep on repeating same mistakes, fail to show urgency at the right moment, fail to be a team member- you will never become a good footballer for a Team / club.
Noone seems to be telling them these things and they are repeating same same mistakes. This happens when they are taking their place for granted.
Who decides that they will play in India team ?? on what basis?
One-touch football, urgency while trailing in the match, importance of set-pieces both in defending as well as executing seems to be missing.
Repeating same mistakes is not learning process especially when you are spoon-fed along with boarding/lodging for years and place in national team setup is guaranteed. There are other talented players also in India.
Coaching staff is equally responsible for this debacle.
