he has only just started to score..cannot expect a NT team place immediately. Maybe after the Asia cup if he continues to perform like this

This isn't the Indian cricket team, where there is such intense competition to break into the team.

This is Indian football and more so a striker and we don't have very many potent options as striker - with Joby in good form, he ought have been there in the current NT.

Jobby is only good inside the box. Outside the box he is quite ordinary. Bit slow as well. I don't think so he is a national team material.

Logic of some ifn members.. Jobby is not NT material but Passi should be in NT.

Joby Justin is most overrated striker. Vikram Pratap and Rohit Dhanu will be good in another 5-6 years but till then we have to manage with jeje

I agree with GK and @Soccerlover. If players like Passi, Farukh can make it to the squad then why not Joby.
