Joby would be committing a big mistake if he leaves East Bengal for ISL. He won't get much time on the pitch and East Bengal can pay him as much as an ISL club currently. Add to that, playing in ISL doesn't guarantee a place in NT (Soosairaj prime example).
It is difficult to imagine Jobi as the main striker even if EB is in circus. A club spending a fortune on the team will not be comfortable with an young Indian striker. One or two draws/ losses, and back to the benches for him, with a foreigner taking up his place.
I am not sure @Carbon_14. And speaking frankly, this next season is something which I am hearing since 3 years. Hope that if East Bengal really joins the circus, it doesn't become yet another clown.
@Deb_Ban had Enrique stayed fit, I doubt how many chances Joby would have had in this season only. If he transitions to ISL with East Bengal, he would at best play the 2nd striker (if his form continues, he perhaps has that place assured by the virtue of being a fan favourite).

MB 2:0 MPFC
Omar & Dicka scored
Khalid Jamil makes a winning debut as MB coach
When BFC went EB didn't have money/sponsors. That time ISL was (kind of locked) for 2 years. Thats why they had draft that year
One more thing, Quess took over EB for joining ISL, not i-league
