Vasco SC finished runners-up in group C of 2nd div preliminary round at Madurai. They scored 26 goals in six matches with an average of 4.33 per match. Their player Joy Ferraõ scored the maximum goals for his team with six goals. Vasco's Koko Sakibo was awarded the best striker whereas his team-mate Julius Akipele was awarded the best defender in group C. Vasco SC plays their opening match in 2nd div final round with Mohammedan sporting on 26th April.

Please never underestimate Vasco SC. Remember a few years back more then 50% of the teams playing in the national league were from the region where Vasco SC Comes from. And for your kind information Vasco SC Is the 'mother' of all clubs in that part of the country. Any sort of insult to that club is taken as a personal insult by almost all public of that region. I also want Royal & USFC to play in the 1st div i league but not at the expense of Vasco SC & Sporting clube dé Goa.

Now i love the word you used 'lost'. In your earlier post you have used the word 'kick-out', that is what insulted me. Regarding the playing style and strengths of the above mentioned teams they are more or less the same & on their day can defeat any team. I will love to see the northern states team win as they will bring in lot of crowd in their matches. But as a fan of Vasco i will always support my team.
