Kiran Limbu is stupid and mafe it look dramatic. Tried to spectacularly do something with one hand where he could have tipped it over. His mistake led to the goal
If we are reduced to try to justify a draw against the likes of Nepal by take refuge under the garb of poor pitch, rain, etc, then we have really turned back the clock - Last we were this fascinated/scared of playing against SAFF teams and treated Nepal as a serious opponent was during Wim Koevermans' tenure in 2014! In fact when Constantine was appointed for the 2nd time in 2015 and india had to play Nepal in a playoff for asian cup qualifiers, Consti treated Nepal as a tough opponent and we drew the first leg 0-0 (i think). So I think we have gone back to Koeverman' era!
To be honest we haven’t improved anything in last 14-15 years. ISL is the most overrated league in the world. Hardly runs for 3-4 months and it shouldn’t be called a league.
Any coach can bring a slight difference in performance but ultimately we are a below average team at Asian level with below average, overhyped and overpaid players.
People think SC did some wonders by taking our ranking to top 100 but that ranking is an illusion after beating Guam, Macau, Taipei, Nepal etc. We sit just right above the SAFF group because of our exposure and experience
