11th and 12th June will be important for the Ileague qualifying teams:
The President also congratulated Shillong Lajong and Sporting Clube de Goa for qualifying for next season’s I-League. Both the teams, however, would have to meet the AFC criteria. The AFC Inspection Team is due to visit the two clubs on June 11 and 12.
Finally decision are being made like we fans want. At last AIFF have proven themselves that they are no longer a bunch of dickheads like they used to be before
actually we got say they are doing commendable job in the last year to see some real development in the state of football in india.we need quality 2nd div teaams which can push top teams of i-league hard ,for which thethe need to be run for say min of 6 months....hope the plan is executed..
it would be interesting to find out how Tuboi joined Lajong in the first place ,.There is no record of transfer of the player from the assam rifles/services, to Lajong , so the question is How did he register in the first place , did he come on loan ?if so for how long, aiff should determine that first. with documentation of the loan document supposed to be sent to aiff during the transfer period then.On further investigation aiff will find players belonging to other local clubs to have represented lajong for the 2009 i league without proper local transfer procedures, and taking them on loan doesnt arise as there is no procedure for the same.
