True. You make a good argument. Okay, Round 2 (yes, to me this is a game ) Does Mohammedan have a fully worked facebook or twitter like Royal and USFC do. (Royal dont do twitter but they do facebook) Also like I supposedly did not read your post you did not read that link I put here which had the American Soccer Federation criteria.
Also why should a controversial club be in I-League. I agree we already have that in I-League but they are here, at least we can change that through the 2nd Division.
I'll be honest. I didn't read that link ..what works in USA may not work in India. It's better for us to follow model of SE Asian countries.
I remember having the same discussion with you in the old forum. Number of fans in FB means nothing when it comes to number of actual supporters. I have "liked" almost every club's FB page, be it Vasco or USFC. However, I am not a "fan" of any of these clubs. Liking a FB page doesn't take any effort or time, going to watch the team regularly does. Liking a FB page doesn'f affect the clubn or players, going to the match and being an actual supporter does. And no Mohammedan doesn't have a full fledged FB page...then one page they have is rarely updated.
Isn't United Sikkim controversial? Atleast none of the clubs sent a complaint letter to AIFF regarding MDS' matches like Ar-Hima did, regardless of the allegations being proven or not.
if we start discussing about the best clubs getting promoted we will be left with none for promotion in fact of the current i-league clubs themselves dont know how to run the club...most of clubs in indian football believe in the thing that buy some good players from other club and just hope to win some tournament....this is not the way to run the club may be we should go back to 8-10 team league removing all those clubs who are without any vision about their club(forgetting how good they had been in the present stage or in past)..
haha, good point. The first sentence is very true, sadly.

I disagree about American style not working here. Look at the IPL and WSH. Yes they say they model after EPL but really when you look into it they are all fully American style sports leagues and they are thriving. In fact that is how I got that idea in the first place.
Also disregard that Facebook conversation. Bad times for me. Regret that post. I have changed my views a lot sense then. Anyway, again what club goes without a little controversy also Ar-Hima has failed to provide real evidence for why USFC should be punished.
lol now this is interesting to see ongc making themselves heard among the fans with their performance...looks like ongc should begin getting their papers ready to professionalize themselves
p.s though i just hope they dont make it, but win against mohd sporting is excellent result for them

So what should ONGC fans call them like ??? "Gas Men" ??
p.s though i just hope they dont make it, but win against mohd sporting is excellent result for them
They will qualify and add some "GAS" to next season's I-League
