This is purely a money earning arrangement for both RM and EB. Something similar to what Man U Soccer School has/had done. Man U centers I doubt are even functional or not.
@jitug1979 it is not a money earning arrangement bro. It was clearly mentioned in the news report that it is just a 2 week coach training type thing in. No money will be extracted from the boys. I don't know why everyone is giving so much importance to this Real Madrid thing. EB academy is much more important than that. Moreover EB official social media pages didn't even mention this. It is news paper created shit. Better to avoid I guess.

Very good list..Remember the name of Fakhri from a novel of Moti Nandi named "Naran", an absolutely brilliant novel depicting the trials and tribulations of an East Bengal refugee Naran and his association with his colleagues in his office who though, all avid Mohun Bagan supporters, treat him as one of their own...the halcyon days when we youngsters used to wait for the PujoBarshiki Anandamela for such literary gems Thanks @EastBengalPride for bringing back all those memories. Baskar is usually rated to be the best, though I didn't see him play. My love affair with club beginns in 1987 when Cheema was signed by East Bengal and he formed a deadly combo with the duo of Krishanu Dey and Bikash Panji.
East Bengal Academy is getting the formal inauguration today. Bruno Coutinho (Goa), Kuljit Singh (Punjab), Bhaichung Bhutia (Sikkim) and I.M. Vijayan (Kerala) are expected to be present for the ceremony. Its going to be a full fledged residential academy in Salt Lake with ground being already leased long term. 11 players have been selected already post trials with more joining in the coming weeks.

Shehnaz hopefully will be fit by the derby. Else we have Mehtab and Khabra who can both fit into that slot.
