That is tough. Keita is my favorite foreigner. At least the revenue PFC get can make them get a better player.

All kolkata football transfer news are not rumors although it may apparently appear to be so to those who are not well connected to the local sources. Granted it does not happen as professionally as in Europe but rumor mongering is a part of the game to jack up prices of rival targets, to mislead rivals. Everyone in the fans club know all the genuine news, they just don't want to talk about it in public lest the rivals find out and jack up player prices through counter offers etc.

Denson Devadas has been offered Rs 80 lakh by both Mohun Bagan and Prayag United. But MB are offering a 2 year contract.
Ranty Martins has been offered Rs. 1.5 crore by East Bengal and Prayag united. But Ranty want to play only under an Indian coach

So looks like AIFF not going to put restrictions on salary.

dont worry yet. The meeting is not till April 24th. Also all this is just rumors and paper talk. Plus if there was a rule which allowed each club to sign that "icon player" (the player who does not count towards the salary cap) then Ranty Martins would surely count as an icon based on I-League and AFC Cup performance.

Raju Gaikowad is staying two more years with East Bengal. East Bengal is trying for Denzel Feanco and Lalrindika. BTW , How long is Devdas's contract? I think 2 years. Arnab Mondal is looked like the Indian player most sought for.
