India did not charge him for racism... the AIFF did. This would be United Sikkim who are ran by a player who called him one of the best coaches he has worked under. Plus many were saying the same about Desmond Bulpin but look what happened in the end... he came back.
I dont care about the MOTM prize money issue. As long as the players get it eventually then it is fine but the ticket issue is appalling.
So 6,000 people came but only 700 actually payed. Ya, no wonder the clubs are losing money. There is no revenue. The problem is not the on-field game (as the GFA says) but it is the fact that the GFA and clubs do not pay attention to who goes into the stadium.
Yes, it is good that it attracted 6,000 fans and that the atmosphere was good but how many of that 6,000 would have been willing to pay. Apparently only 700. Its all about revenue and these guys aint getting it.
goan clubs should allow school children with identity cards free entry in the stadium, but not the people who dont pay....the tickets are priced at Rs 30/- , same as a McDonalds burger.... :-P
@somesh what can be done if people dont wanna pay up for the games.... after realizing that there are just 700 people in a stadium of 27000, they must have let people in to make it look atleast 20% occupied and look respectable in the TV telecast
also why inter-village tournament is getting more importance in Goa rather than national level high intensity match between two title favourites big clubs?? :-?

For the first time i read a preview of an i-league match in official website...
I am getting a feeling that we chould have 100000+ crowd in THE KOLKATA DERBY.
Just wondering what the opinions are... not saying that this is realistic...
Bob wouldnt come back to a country that charged him with racism..he is leading a retired life now
6000 fans had turned out for churchill brothers match but only 773 tickets were sold Http://www.heraldgoa.in/news/sports/only-773-tickets-sold-for-i-league-tie/67097.html

There goes professionalism of GFA up in the air. All FAs in India are equally incompetent.
