Ticket prizes were Rs.70 for most of the stadium and some 10,000+ tickets were Rs.100, 150, 200, & 250.

And piss off. Just because Goan clubs dont do ticket revenue does not mean that it does not matter. It is a huge thing in world football and when the Goan clubs fall behind then dont cry.

goan clubs never needed money from ticket it just negligible amount real money is sponsorship and without that too goan clubs are doing quite well
imagine mohun bagan without sponsors :P

Again, when the quality of football gets better in India will the Goan clubs be able to keep up. Why did SRK really not sign up with Dempo? Why did those cricket players also say no? Why is all the attention given to Kolkata from most companies? North-East as well.

Just saying that for now it is fine but dont be surprised to be in for a reality check.

True but go damn it. Imagine what you guys can charge when the quality of football goes up and those 90,000 fans come back. Woah.

they dying coz they want fans
more the number of fans in stadium = more the amount from sponsors and more sponsors :D

You know that half the clubs in the top 2 divisions in Spain have 40,000 seaters. Same in Germany and Italy. They have no sponsors. WHY? Big stadium does not mean sponsors?

My New York Red Bulls went from a 80,000 seater to a 25,000 seater. Why? Wouldnt that mean that they are losing money from sponsorships? Why are the Brisbane Roar looking for a smaller stadium option when they play in a big stadium anyway?

Why did SRK and IPL stars reject you guys despite your around 10,000 crowds and potential brilliant stadiums (after Lusophony Games)?

so if all fans come in for free for every match in the year , then are the clesea /Manu/Arsenal ready to let go of the  revenue generated throught ticket sales for d year?.

The Finance Director of the clubs will scream murder.. its might be a smaller amount in overall value but its still big money

Let me just ask you this. Does it strike you that the IPL, despite its major sponsorships, still manages to get a paying attendance of 40,000-50,000 a game or more? What a coincidence!

So why is that? How does a league with paying crowds get mega sponsorships while a league with barely any paying crowds get no sponsorships at all?

Why is IMG so bent on creating a Super I-League with brand new franchises on line with IPL?
