DSK is looking to get into the I-League, but instead of direct entry, will opt for 2nd Division route.. By the time they get into the I-League , they should have a full stadium and 2 practice fields too
@gaffertape I couldn't make the last part of your statement. "They should have a full stadium..." Was it a sarcasm or DSK is actually working towards it?
DSK are building a Sports City residential project at their massive complex behind their current campus. this will include a Tennis , Cricket and othwr Sporting Academies. ..part of this Grand plan will also be a small stadium. This will take a few years though...they already have the Full articificial and full natural fisld side by side adjacent to the College campus which has the Gym , accommodation, Swimming pool etc. by far the best location for training for anyone in India
Still a little off-putted by their branding and name. I do remember there being a thread long ago in which people justified the name but I just can't get over that.
I am liking this sports campus though and do believe we need more of these in India. JSW also have one coming and I can't wait.

Good thinking by AIFF (not to restrict entry from a city), travel cost and time will be minimised.
