I wonder how much each team is going to be sold for? Even if it comes close to 50% of the IPL teams sold, that would be great but where will the money go?
I'm failing to understand how it will attract more fans than I League...?

For eg...if Mumbai FC attracts 3000 people for stadium...then a new franchise may attract 1000 odd people extra..thats it...

Its going to be a big flop....
I still fail to understand how the super league will be economically viable?...cut aside all d glitz glamour n trendy news paper reports nothing explains how the money will come into play....surely d foreigners will be paid a ton of money .. Don't think club owners r gonna get any money via attendance...maybe there is some us lay ppl don't know that the franchise owners are aware off..
I'm surprised how none of the established papers r wondering how this circus will be running ...while this will surely get indian football into world wide focus, will it benefit us as a football nation or will benefit only d business men?.

No one will make a profit for the first season... or the second... or the third. What is happening here is a risk. Companies are risking losing money on something they believe can become big. Happens all the time.

To put it into perspective. Most A-League teams barely brake even after a season... less make a profit. MLS finally had a team make a profit more than 10 years after it started in 1996.

They make money in a different way in such leagues. The idea is to utilise tax loopholes, conversion of black money to white, show fake expenses to utilise Corporate social responsibility tax loophole. No sane mind will think that using old retired unfit footballers in some masala torunament will improve Indian Football.
