thanks @deepu....does he bring his own backroom staff as well? Looks like a smart move....I love the way they are following a long term plan of building a sustainable franchise from the ground up! Wish Lajong would also do the same, and appoint some one a liitle more qualified to help with the senior team.
Can anyone here elaborate about the revenue models of I League and ISL. With no clubs from either league getting money from TV Revenue, what are the sources of their revenue?
Was just hearing Mourinho that he has a team of 12 medical staff, 7 assistant coaches! Thts more than the backroom staff of All ileague clubs combined..but the irony will be probably be lost on #Aiff....sigh...it would have taken them exatly 1 week to replace the club if KBFC had to shut shop (#IMG would have kicked their buts otherwise)...here an ileague club has obviously closed down and not a word. But then again (& i repeat @the risk of being hated on IFN) perhaps the VIP snaks menu of #ISL is still not finalised.
EB gets some money from their co-sponsors and both the Kolkata clubs make some gate sale money, thats it. Another source is leasing of your players to ISL and its the same for ISL tents earning some money by loaning to I-League clubs.
Every I-League club gets 40 Lakh Rupees as subsidy for participating in I-league. In addition to that, AIFF also gives 70 thousand rupees as extra subsidy whenever a club is hosting Home Game plus bill for Floodlights of the Stadium. Clubs also keep the money from Ticket Sales in their Pocket.
