So all those months, what were they doing about floodlights. Work is only starting now. All those months were they looking to find some contractor? and floodlights repair doent mean they need to block whole stadium. They should work on it on the days there is no match.

Floodlights are a good source of nutrition. That info alone should answer the question.
some time back i read that 2013 ICC womens WC is going to be held in INDIA...... for such high level matches you need world class grounds.....and astonishingly all the games are to played at mumbai at 5 different venues....... WANKHADE STADIUM, BRABOURNE STADIUM, DY PATIL STADIUM, BKC GROUND, MIG GROUND........ so we have 5 world class grounds just for cricket and not even a single decent ground for football....... so very very sad (
just when cooperage was about to rise to a decent I-LEAGUE level, those fucking assholes (locals) in the name of heritage stopped the work......when are falling apart, termite ridden wooden planks a part of heritage, when has grass become a symbol of heritage..... even DNA newspaper had a big role in stopping the work..... and they took credit using the term DNA IMPACT (means the heritage structure was saved due to their reporting).....fucking assholes
