    Massive Shatranj by IMG-R to destroy I-League. the people who were happy that I league will be broadcasted by Star will cry now. I-league to be available only on Star First. Star first is a new free to air channel which will broadcast low quality sport like local state cricket, local kabaddi, local badminton etc this means star views I league as low quality shit. 2nd thing is this channel will be Hindi only channel which mean no English commentary for I-league. 3rd thing is this channel won't be available on any leading DTH or Cable you will have to buy a Anttna/dish to view this there is also no live streaming of this channel on hotstar. while isl will remain on star sports premium channels.

    please put a hands up for someone who did NOT expect this. its upto i league clubs to come together (something they have NEVER done) & get ileague out of FSDL who has a very obvious conflict of interest. writing letters to aiff won't help and it should be obvious to all ileague clubs by now.

    I'm sure they won't allow weekend evening matches as well. Though PP will keep on harping how AIFF treats IL as the premier league.

    Are you sure Star First will not be available on DTH and cable? Even DD free to air channels are available there!

    Why would Star not want this on DTH or Cable? It'll be available on both. They'll lobby to include the channel for sure. 

    From a business point of view, nobody is going to make it unavailable for DTH and Cable.
