Lack of quality has to do with Lacking football education, which will come with infrastructure and good coaching. Which in turn has to do with expanding prospects for footballers and officials. ISL can do that. Another is socio economic, where many kids are not allowed to pursue football because of lack of prospects and financial struggle that is assumed comes with the career of any sportsman apart from a cricketer in india. As for stadia, can be solved or atleast as a stopgap by renovating existing grounds. To see world class players / stadia in india, its going to be a long while yet.

Rebranding is not happening.  If I were an owner, I'd try to maximize the support, not minimize it.

In Kerala, the name 'Kerala' generates maximum support over Kochi, Kozhikode, Trivandrum etc. Hence Kerala Blasters, Viva Kerala are names that I'll consider. A second team will also look to include Kerala in the name.

In Metros, it's different. Bengaluru, Hyderabad Chennai, Mumbai can generate the support within themselves.

a regular 30-40k fans in the stadium for every game is very god enough. I guess with Malapuram name you can get it easily in Kerala not in bengaluru atleast for now with bengaluru name init.

In stadia audience helps the team to win matches but TV audience helps to win revenue. So,  will I choose Kerala or Malappuram to generate maximum revenue?  The answer is very simple.

    >Which name for Pune will bring audience? None. while name like NEROCA FC is getting 10000 plus crowd at Imphal. It also depends on popularity of the sport in the region.

     >It is important to keep on discovering new places. Uttarakhand state with places like Dehradun or Pondicherry in South India can be great destinations.

    >Many times, the names of clubs with city is already taken. There is already Mallapuram FC or FC Kochi name registered with some club in the past even though that club is not active any more.

@munna21977 But where are the stadiums? We need stadiums to start new teams.

WTF, what name will attract Pune names? Whatever name actually cares about marketing the club well enough and it was proven this season.

Why is Pune still even a discussion? Fuck it, I'll say it, does not matter what name in Manipur you use, they will come just because.

Why fight over Kerala blasters name?? they are looking unstable for one franchise... it would take lot of time for a second franchise be thought of.. and when there comes a opening there can be another team names after kerala.. there are two top teams in various stage across the world like Man utd/ city... LA Lakers/ clippers

I named those because utd/lakers are one of most famous club in the world still the rival club in the city were able to divide fan base and get its share... so can be done by kerala ... but again we may not need to worry about this for next 10-15 years at least i suppose
