Why all the people are making negative comments about proposed league structure
1.it is better then present league structure of Isl &i-league
    2. In Isl teams  number of foreigner will be decreased  to 4 & franchise will be also increased so that more  Indian players will get playing time
    3. After first season league  in 2018 will be extended to 8 months both Isl &league-1
    4. Approximately 600 footballers can get employment if above structure league was implemented

@fox If you are talking about the "24 Ghanta" interview of Subrata Dutta......he is btw Vice President of AIFF. But he was very very out spoken & aggressive. Could face a show cause from the esteemed AIFF Big Bosses ! But again...he was dead right.

Where is the merger than, this looks like announcement of ISL as main league.

We take marketing rights, we create 8 franchises, we take your players in loan, we take your stadiums. We bring some old horses, we occupy your calendar, we play in the best time. We will destroy your culture and we will become top tier. Another East India company. Kolkata becareful atleast this time around.

United States has same league structure. MLS don't have relegation and its relatively new (started in 1984) their old league is known with different name. Source: Times of India

The roadmap has more positives than negatives.

The AIFF vice-president and owner of Shillong Lajong, Larsing Ming, told The Hinduthat he was happy with the comprehensive roadmap.

“For the first time Indian football has a long-term roadmap. There is a promise and if followed properly it will help Indian football,” he said.

So , even I league clubs are happy. Only the big guys BFC MB and EB will remain pissed.

Merging either MB or EB with ATK, letting the other one and Bengaluru to play in ISL. That is probably gonna happen. That's why AIFF left those two spots open. I seriously do not see much problem with this. Lets be honest in the current situation of Indian club football, no promotion and relegation in ISL wont harm. I agree in long term is needed. That will happen I hope. TV coverage and streaming coverage for tier 2 and 3 is promising. Super cup concept is also good. lets not confuse it is just another name for federation cup with different format. there is promotion/relegation in tier 2 and 3, so motivation is there. AFC cup spot is also for grab if you win super cup. in ISL. motivation is ACL spot for winner. Nehru cup every year more friendlies is also good. Tell where it is horribly wrong. We may have suggestions, but this is not too bad. But yes if they dont allow EB and MB in top tier thats a shame, nobody will support that and thats not happen easily also. So lets wait and see before screaming.

@karenesudhakar2050 No No No, the number of foreigners is not gonna decrease. It will remain 6+5 for the Indian league. However, for the AFC cup, one will only have 4 foreigners.
