Er... if the squirt Ashlesh knew it was fixed from the beginning why did he went all bonkers and stupid enough to get banned from this forum?
He was shocked and so were countless people on CFC winning this in a couple of mins.
Deal with it and move forward, it was a great game and we won and you have not an inkling proof towards anything but just your imagination , onwards towards the next season!!
I mean, why would they say no to additional revenue? Of course that would then make no sense for City with DY Patil probably cheaper but still. Wankhede Stadium looks a lot better personally than DY Patil.
Forget getting Wankhede Brabourne Eden Gardens etc, just won't happen no matter how much we harp. MCFC can fund the renovation of Ancheri Stadium if they want something inside the city. We have stadiums like Ambedkar Rabindra Sarobar crying out for renovation are in the heart of the city but no takers. Everyone wants a freebies.
Wankhede won't be free though unless the MCA is generous (which I doubt). Honestly, demolishing that stadium and building a brand new one, more modern, would be great. Mumbai deserves a proper, modern, football stadium.
Probably won't happen for years though as long as DY Patil is looked at as a good venue. Only team I can see wanting to move to a "smaller stadium" is Delhi Dynamos. ATK is great, Kerala is well good, NEUFC is fine, FC Goa is great, FCPC should have a stadium closer to the city but that will never happen, and Chennaiyin should also have a smaller stadium but they probably won't do, nor do they have the funds probably.
@goalkeepar Can you explain in what way the match was fixed? The key events or decision or the play which was pre-scripted? I am truly failing to understand how was match fixed without the support of players/officials of FC Goa? If not then FC Goa played poorly against CFC. If @Ashlesh knew that CFC is going to fix the match against FC Goa, then why didnt he raise voice before? Why wait till the loss!!
According to many FC goa fans, the winners of ISL was predecided on day one of ISL 2 itself why on earth did FC goa fans then attend 8 games at the fatorda paying overpriced tickets with almost all sellouts just to watch a fixed tournament ??...especially the finals . Why not raise concerns from the very beginning?
