In last few match days, have seen this guy regularly marching along with us during Corteo towards the stadium. I was hell inspired seeing his condition. When I saw him today again, my urge to talk to him kicked in. I dodged scores of EB supporters, and started walking parallel to him. That's when I introduced myself. Then he said something, which boosted up my morale within seconds.
He: "Dude, you know what, I got up in the previous train!"
Me: "Eh?"
He: "Yeah, I got inside the train and didn't find you guys. So got down in the next stop. Waited for the next train to arrive. Got in. Finally saw Ultras inside!"
Me: "Why didn't you come in the other train? You could have reached earlier."
He: "I didn't want to miss the chants and corteo with you guys, bro!"
Well, his reply made me numb. A guy, with an amputed leg, travels around a hundred kilometers, on a stormy-rainy day, just to see our team play, and sing with his fellow friends from the stands! Definitely, numb.
East Bengal is not a club, it's a way of life for us!
East Bengal recruited Francis Kahata (24 yrs.) of National Team of Kenya who plays as a Left Midfielder and his joursey no. is 15 in the EB Football Squad for the season 2016-17. His name is being in the list of EB Football Squad find from the Wiki of EB.
Wiki is pretty unreliable about these...they once mentioned Sony Norde's club as Tollygunge Agragami...corrected it after a few hours...although both wiki and transfermarkt mention him as a free agent, he has been mentioned as playing for Kenyan club Gor mahiya as recently as 14th August (http://www.nation.co.ke/sports/football/Rangers-add-to-Gor-Mahia-woes-AFC-thrashed/1102-3344704-l9g4rdz/)...guess this is one of those rumours that get bruited about due to the club's Sammy Omollo, Suley Musah connection...we would have to wait for an official confirmation...even that wouldn't be enough... remember what happened to Lukeman and Wedson

Why didn't EB sign him when they needed a GK badly?
