  • while watching i league hls & an old el classico on tv simultaneosly, there we can notice huge difference between the game with problems in indian football...

stadium--as already mentioned by @arsenalkid & others in other discussion thread..

saw banners in fatorda stadium like FLAMING ORANGE for scg, RED MACHINE for curchill bros good idea...BUT WHERE ARE THE FANS???

no cheer for goals in the stadium due to lack of fans, not an atmosphere for football..feel sleepy as in an lecture class in engg college

awkard bounces of the ball during play disturbing the rhythm of the game, while euro league teams play pin point passes, crosses our players don't find the intended target, either it will go out or the marking defender will take it....lack of attacking flair

club names--already discussed by all the members here...

afternoon kickoff--well several premier league games are held on weekend afternoon, we never feel bored but here its pathetic that we switch onto other channels....

no coverage of USFC,SLFC matches where stands are full, never mind the ground ...the fans in the stadium encorages us to watch the game..& it hides irregularities in the stadium

  • Exactly. Of course people will come back and say how if these teams played in there city then they would be filled but please, we need to have something. At least beat the A-League where the average attendance is 16,000 (If we can beat Melbournes 45,000 a game then I would be impressed).

Anyway, suggestion to solve this..., expansion, not pro/rel. To many great cities where an owner won't bother spending money on a 2nd Division team.
