yes. early 2000s there was lot of craze for ESPN, apart from premier league, sometimes i even watched NBA, NHL ice hockey, 6 nations rugby etc.

I watched lot of Golf also without understanding the rules at all.. And was fascinated that a tiny Oceania country had a top golfer with an Indian name ( Vijay Singh).. Too young to understand the game or know about the history of Fiji.

But nothing beats the daily show of SportsCenter on ESPN. I remember waiting an entire day just to watch a 1 min news report with video clip of Dempo beating Home United in Singapore.

There will be no ACL and AFC Cup spot for the League Shield winners and ISL Trophy winners this season. 

With AFC's change in the calendar of the competitions, the winner of the next ISL season will play in the next ACL and AFC Cup in that same year.

#NEW AFC Exco decisions :

- ACL and AFC Cup will move to Autumn/Spring from 2023-24 season

- Foreign players quota will be 5+1 from 2023-24

- Remove West-East zoning principle from U17, U20, and U23 Asian Cup

- WCQ Asian playoff will be held in Doha on 7 June

So for nations which currently held its season in Autumn-Spring format, will have their 2021-22 results not considered for the next ACL and AFC Cup. Instead the teams will be considered based on results of the 2022-23 season. #ACL #AFCCup
