Just a Fact-Had Saina lost her match(by chance),then also Indian pair of Ashwini and Sikkim Reddy would have gone as favorites against their Counterparts.
Great Job done by our Weightlifters.From 3 Golds in 2014,They have increased the tally to 5 Golds.Not only that ,i can see atleast 2-3 weightlifters who have the capacity who can win medals in Olympics(Specially Mirabai Chanu).
From Now,Individual events will be starting in the likes of Badminton,Table Tennis,Squash etc.
1)Badminton-Gold Medal hopes in Both Singles(Men and Women) and also in Women"s Doubles. Medal hopes in Men"s doubles and Mixed Doubles.This time we have a genuine chance of winning a medal in all the categories which will be a FIRST for India in Badminton at the Commonwealth Games.
2)Table Tennis-Gold Medal Hopes in (Singles,Doubles,Mixed Doubles in Men" Categories,one common category ofcourse). I can"t see any obvious Gold Medal hopes in Women"s Singles and Doubles but Medal is a possibility.
3)Squash-Women"s Doubles seems to be our best bet of a Medal.
Wrestling will be starting from 12th April,Boxing events(Medal) will take shape at later stage.So till then,Shooting will have take the Burden and keep our Golden Run Going over the next Couple of days BEFORE OUR Wrestlers,Boxers,Shuttlers,Paddlers join the fray in Individual Medal Rounds.
