@arsenalfan: they have already taken a nigerian defender from Southern Samity. Although i am a EB supporter i personally like Manish Bhargav too. In addition to pace and technique that guy also has good big match temperament at a young age.

Try playing at the Aztek Stadium in Mexico City on a hot-warm day in from of over 100,000 people every week in which security is everywhere. That is serious pressure. Ranty is confirmed for Prayag undoubtedly. He will sign for them on 9th May formally and leave for Nigeria. Tolgay has also made the move to Mohun Bagan. Unless there is last minute change of mind, he is in Sobuj Maroon camp
The little I understand and know about MB, I don't see them recruiting Mexicans. As previously mentioned a zillion times, MB does not have any formalized policy, framework, timing etc for recruiting players, they work in the typical baniya and neta mould, word of mouth from their close circle and as is very often the case, their supposed close circle often fails them.

MB has already more or less finalized their 4 foreigners.I am little bit sceptic about Johny playing in midfield rest 3 are pretty good. Most of the Indian players are also finalized and they will declare team around May last week. The best part is, this year's average age of the team will be on the lower side.
Johny is not finalized although talks with him did reach an advanced stage. Not sure if the fans club president feathered their ears but all of a sudden, the recruiters woke up from their slumber and realized that the NEED OF THE HOUR IS a defensive midfielder in the central midfield given Masih's sloppiness along with lack of leadership in the defense and not an attacking one, with Jewel, Maithani already in the ranks. Also Tolgay has good enough mobility to supplement the job of an attacking midfielder in case Raja or Maithani cut a cropper.
Tolgay is more or less confirmed for MB next season, MB should now look for some good midfielders who can feed their strikers Odafa and Tolgay ... it was a good decision to release the older players (Pradeep, Ashim, Surkumar etc...) we can now look for some speedy youngsters ..

His pace and technic is great. He is almost the Indian version of Jack Wilshere, a super-young midfielder who will be a future star.

Also before the club make any signings they should get the coach sorted first, of course I doubt the club is that smart. They should then look for a good midfielder like Lalrindika or Shilton D'Silva. Get some youth into the club.

Defense I would go for a foreigner from Mexico, Mexicans are naturally tall players and there are plenty of former Mexican international defenders who would adapt easily and would love to come to Bagan like... Carlos Salcido (former Fulham player to), Jonny Magallón, and Héctor Reynoso. Whether Bagan would look at Mexico is not likely.

Hey..how do u know so much about Mexican football yaar! ? It good actually that you are sharing the details :-) in that case why dont u approach these bull headed MB officials and make them see a point as opposed to their one dimensional thinking!!! ? Also whats the update on Lalrindika?

MB officials have this habit of signing the players first and the signing new coach, hand him over the shit and wait for trophies. Initially i heard they had asked Subrat to submit player list of his choice. But looks like its all the same
